Coming to a field near you, your very own disco light show. The attached letter from the Defence Estates requires that turbines, proposed at Silton in Dorset, must be lit with high intensity lights as the turbines would be in a Night Low Flying System. This follows a similar request that the turbines at Fullabrook be lit.

The lighting is normally high intensity red lights mounted at 52m and at hub height. When the turbines are working they rotate at about 20rpm. This means that the lights appear to flash once per second.
