From the top left of the Google Maps page, select My Maps then scroll down to and select the Distance Measurement Tool

Use the navigation tools (hand to move the map, zoom tools) to find your property then click on it.

Step 4
Click on a spot close to, but not actually on the turbine (denoted by a blue flag), and the distance tool will calculate the distance from your property to the turbine (displayed to the left of the map). You can select to display the distance using Metric or Imperial options. TIP: The closer you zoom into the map, the more accurate the measurement.
